Sisters in Service — Overflow Summit

The Overflow Summit

September 17, 2026 | Chicago

The Overflow Summit is a one-day career, wellness, and faith experience for women in transition. Presented by Sisters in Service, a Castle Bell Hope Project initiative, the summit is designed to pour back into women who have spent years pouring into everyone else.

The summit serves women navigating job loss, underemployment, career change, burnout, re-entry into the workforce, or a new professional season. Every session takes place on the main stage, allowing all attendees to experience the full day together through career restoration, emotional wellness, and faith and spiritual grounding.

Attendees will receive practical career tools, wellness support, prayer, community, and a clear next step for the season ahead.

Hope Day: Operation Restoration — Drop-In Center

Coming Soon | South Side of Chicago

We are actively standing up our weekly drop-in center on the South Side of Chicago — a welcoming space where veterans and community members can walk in, catch their breath, and access real resources.

Each week, we will offer a core set of services along with rotating community resources brought in through our growing network of partners. Here is what you can expect:

Core Services — Available Every Week

  • A hot meal served with dignity and care

  • Fresh Start Kits with essential hygiene items

  • Employment readiness support — resume help, job resources, and referrals

Available Based on Volunteer Scheduling

  • Haircuts and grooming services (subject to barber availability)

  • Mental Health Support Services

  • Community Health Screenings

Rotating Community Resource Table Each week we bring in a different community partner to connect you with resources that matter. Past and upcoming partners include VA resource navigation and peer support, financial literacy workshops, housing assistance information, credit repair guidance, and more.

Please note: Rotating partner services vary from week to week and are scheduled based on partner availability. We cannot guarantee a specific resource will be present on any given week. Core services — hot meals, hygiene kits, and employment support — are available every visit.

No appointment. No paperwork. No judgment. Just people showing up for people.

This is what restoration looks like — one week, one person, one step at a time.

Hearts of Valor Dinner

December 20, 2025 | American Legion Rehfeldt-Meyer Post 474 — Matteson, Illinois

On December 20, 2025, Castle Bell Hope Project was honored to host our first Hearts of Valor Dinner in partnership with American Legion Rehfeldt-Meyer Post 474. What began as a simple desire to honor those who served became an evening filled with warmth, laughter, and genuine community.

We welcomed 24 veterans and their families to a fully decorated holiday celebration featuring a hot home-style meal — ham, chicken, Italian sausage, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, collard greens, dinner rolls, and more — followed by a full dessert spread of pies, cupcakes, and cookies. Every plate was served with care, and every guest was treated like family. A very special visit from the Grinch had the kids absolutely lit up and reminded everyone that joy is part of the mission too.

Every detail of the evening was designed with one purpose: to remind our veterans and their loved ones that they are seen, valued, and never forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and made this evening possible.
